The University of Strathclyde are looking for people aged 18 years or older, living in Scotland, who have had experience of chronic pain (which is pain lasting more than 12 weeks), and have spoken with a healthcare professional working in a GP practice and/or community pharmacy about their pain, to take part in a group workshop activity. It is ok if you are not in pain right now; anyone who has had chronic pain in their life can take part. You must be able to speak the English language well to take part. The study is open until the end of June 2024.
Some background information on the study: In Scotland, some GP practices have pharmacists working in them. These GP pharmacists can give care and support for patients who have had chronic pain. As well as talking to patients about their pain, these pharmacists could ask patients to fill in questionnaires about their chronic pain, and the impact that the pain has on their lives. However, it is not known which questionnaire would be best for pharmacists to ask patients with chronic pain to complete. The goal of the workshop is to hear your opinions on these questionnaires and pick the best one.
