Painfully confused

This has happened twice. The first time on my right side I was sitting in my car and leaned over to pick up something on the floor. I heard and felt a “pop”. It was very painful to move, tender to touch for several weeks. I thought I’d broken a rib. The dr took X-rays and it didn’t show anything. Now, weeks later I was standing, leaned down and the same thing happened on my left side. Like at the bottom of my rib cage. Has anyone experienced this?

Doctors dont seem to know much about bodies! Suggest you get yourself to a hands-on therapist working gently. Osteopath comes to mind, or Bowen/NST therapist? Best wishes TIMbowPSP

I had similar experiences when I was a lot younger and the doctor I had then told me it was when the rib is put under certain pressure it dislocates then almost immediately goes back into place but leaves an extremely tender spot. His advise, just don't do movements where it might happen!
