Many people with chronic pain experience changes to their body perception, whereby the affected limb looks or feels different to the unaffected limb. However, little is understood about the different ways in which perception of the body can change, how this has an impact on daily life, or how individuals desire their body to look and feel.
This survey aims to understand how people with chronic pain in one or more of their limbs (hand, arm, foot or leg) perceive their painful body part, and also how they would like it to look and feel. The results of the survey will be used to inform the development of a new virtual reality rehabilitation tool targeting body perception and impacted actions. There’s a chance to win a £50 Amazon voucher for taking part, and the results will help us to design interventions tailored to your needs!
