Very sore patch in throat not going away, had it for a week seems to be getting bigger and more painfull

I would see a dr. It could be tonsillitis, strep throat. My friend use to get those puss pockets and she had an infection . Hope you feel better soon

No. Not A&E. More than appropriate for GP. No wonder Emergency Department staff are on their knees.

Looks like infection in throat. Not only white spot but also “gunk” at back of tongue.See gp would be best. Hope you got appointment today.
