calling 111 for advice would be good but see your GP for a checkup and reassurance too, could be anxiety, certain foods anything.

My 33-year-old daughter has had problems for a while now and saw a cardiologist last year. He explained that some people are just so in tune with their heart that they feel every change in rhythm and when it happens to try to concentrate on something else. She'd had ECG's, first one at the doctors and then a 24 hour home one, none of them turned a serious problem up.

Sorry about this person Sandy, she is annoyed your psychic powers are poor. Your question demonstrates worry but also demonstrates you are worried about bothering a professional. Please don't worry. Pop into the GP, they may be able to do an ECG there and then. They may refer you on and you might get a Holter monitor for 24 hours. Trust me, if they have concerns , they'll let you know, they won't chance it. It's very unlikely to be anything sinister and worry makes it worse, always. Break the cycle of worry, get checked and good luck. :)
