I have skin problems on my face which may be just sun damage but I cannot see dermatologist and have been given fluorouracil cream by doctor who has seen photos. Can anyone tell me what I should be looking for in the appearance of my skin which would indicate cancer please?

What did the Doctor say was wrong with your skin and what would make you think possible cancer?

I had basal carcinoma's on my nose approximately 5 years' ago. These were removed after having a local anesthetic and stitches; 2 black eyes in the process! The doctor did warn me these were from sun damage and would grow back. I now have 3 on the nose (which have grown back) and one on the side of my face. My Doctor has been consulted and I presume he will send a referral to the Dermatologist for removal.

Not what you're looking for?
