Hello everyone

Iv joined because my husband had a heart attack, and although he has recovered and came home ,we are finding he is so tired and has pains in his legs and arms also he's stopped smoking so that's different for him ,we are already finding this site very useful as he's worried about all the medication he's on ,I just wanted to say thank you and if any one else is in the position and trying to navigate the road back to normal we would love to chat , we live in Spain the care was fantastic but left hospital with no aftercare info or anyone to talk too .

That's great news he's recovering and has stopped smoking. How long ago did he have heart attack?

I have found many major teaching hospitals (that provide cardiac rehab) have online resources like the Mayo Clinic. That is my go to for online health information in the states, but you will find there are plenty of others. One European site I’ve particularly liked is the DW TV show called In Good Shape (a show on Deutschland Welle’s TV program): dw.de/ingoodshape

Just reviewing the online titles now, I’ve see dozens of shows in their library I’d like to watch. You too may find something helpful.

Great he is home but I think you should inform doc of the leg pains, it could be important, if he is taking statins it could be due to that, though it may just be bad circulation. I'm also in Spain and yes the hospital care is good but aftercare is lacking, my husband had a triple bypass a few years ago and is fine now. Though tiredness is to be expected, has you husband had his vitamins tested he may be low on vit D or the B's. Hooe he feels better soon.
