Generally you qualify at 62 but would receive higher benefits if wait till 65. Unless you are disabled in which case you can qualify at any age. Amount depends on years of work and how much you contributed. Will check out website for you to learn more.

I don't really know what you mean by white privilege, but it sounds a bit biased. Well, maybe more than a bit. I am not white and I have worked since I was fifteen. So, to answer your question, II'd say it is at the same age as when brown privilege begins to work. Look it up on line. And we are a forum on pain here, not a post to talk about skin color and privilege. I am in chronic pain and so are most others here. We are hurting and trying to understand and help one another handle every day when we are trying to move or get up from bed.
