Recently started taking Pregabalin for Peripheral Neuropathy pain and at first I didn't notice any concerning side effects but, over the past few days, I've been experiencing stomach discomfort, I have suffered with IBS but had it under control. It seems to be returning and I 'm unsure if Pregabalin is the cause.

Hi just read your post about "pregabalin " and stomach pain ibs.

Yes it can cause stomach pain as ibs. It can also cause rapid weight gain and a whole plethora of other problems. I suggest you read the leaflet enclosed with the medication. . . It is rather a potent medication as you would know by now. But give it time, don't give up on it and you'll find it really helps with the pain. Another drug to try is "duloxatine " at night, again give it time to work.

Good luck with the meds.

Tony.
