Ive been taking longtec for 2 yrs and weaned down took my last 5 mls 2 weeks ago and am still feeling terrible flu like symptons what can i do my doc ssys im doin well but im not daily life is so difficult

I’m know doctor but keep an on your temperature if it goes up call your doctor. I heard of it gets up go to your doctor or the ER

I believe longgtec is oxycodone. It took me 3 months to feel relatively normal after my last dose. Of course I still had to find other ways of dealing with the pain. Depression, sleep problems,lack of energy were the last withdrawal symptoms to resolved.

I had been sick and had chronic pain about 14 years ago, for 2 years i was prescribed pain med until i funally diagnosed, treated, and then the pain went away,,,i stopped the pain meds, felt aweful withdrawing but stuck it out, after the withdrawals ended i was very weak for a good month,,i began to walk and increased the walk everyday, my stamina came back and felt great,,,keep at, your dr is right, your doing just fine, great,,good for you, if you dont have pain dont take it

Withdrawals can be helped if yourwilling to taks some adderal ir but not too much .I was feeling the same way once after coming off hydrocodone and it seemed like I couldnt ever focus -like use to feel as a kid,In a shell alone, bored always on the outside looking in,never comfortable in groups but a good friend told me to try a 30 mg adderall instant release..What a difference! My energy came back,my interest in other things as well as the focus to do them!My doc eventually put me on the methadone for my pain and its worked also ever since.Give Adderall a test..
