Alcohol can increase the nervous system side effects of Tramadol such as dizziness, drowsiness, and difficulty concentrating. Some people may also experience impairment in thinking and judgment. You should avoid or limit the use of alcohol while being treated with Tramadol

So limit your drinking and you will be OK.

If you can't limit it then don't have any!!

Hi, personally, I was on Tramadol for about 2 years and I did have a few drinks occasionally without any bother but as we are all different then what’s good for the Goose isn’t always good for the Gander.

One sure way to find out is, GO FOR IT, LOL I dare say two or three drinks shouldn’t be a worry.

Go and get drunk and have some well earned FUN.

Philip.

If your drunk you won’t feel it anyway lol, my gp took me off tramadol because it was causing probs with my other pills and gave me a bottle of morphine lol to top up my patches.

Hi Jeannaanne

I have been on Tramadol for quite a few years taking them only when required. I do have a drink but leave some distance between the two. It probably doesn't affect me as much as someone who has just been put on them. I wouldn't drink in that case.

You can drink on tramadol. I asked a chemist about it a few years ago, and it won't cause any damage or problems. However, doing it does making you feel more drunk. I started off having half a pint, to get used to it, then went up to a pint, etc. I now know approximately how drunk I'll feel per drink while on tramadol, and drink as much as I think is reasonable for the occasion.
