Hello

We can't make a diagnosis but maybe by asking a few questions could find out a little more.

Which country does your friend live in? And how old is she?

Good you have a name!

OK so has she seen anyone? Her GP is a good place to start. She can explain where she hurts and he can either give her some meds or send her for test.

She is seeing a gp tomorrow

I can't really understand why you posted on this site when your friend was seeing a doctor tomorrow.

deejames - lots of people do.

This site isn't an alternative to seeing your doctor, it does say that in the rules.

Help & support is sought from others who may have had similar experience. If we don't feel we can help then we don't reply. xx

My reply : How do you know . .

Came up in wrong place. It was in response to deejames' reply.

This is no wind up, I reset my account because I forgot the password and my friend has gone to the gp and found out it was her asthma and is on antibiotics

Good to hear that your friend is on the way to recovery.

This can be caused by bowels being full. It's possible to have constipation without realising this. Feeling Hardness on abdomen and pain can be caused by trapped wind. Drinking warm water with a little Bicarbonate of soda added should help.

If this is the case, your GP should know when he examines you. A muscle relaxant of eg a Diazepam tablet for two consecutive nights may help. GP might give you something else.

If this is the case, then once you have got your bowels moving it's best to gradually change your diet to a high fibre healthy diet which includes at least 3 pieces of fresh fruit and drinking water before meals and through the day. Plenty of root vegetables. Potatoes everyday, preferably Jacket potatoe and eat skin. Google search the Internet for foods that are high in fibre . A good tip is to choose the foods you like. Never force yourself to eat anything you don't like.

Cut down on or stop altogether foods that bung up the bowel/cause constipation : White bread, marshmallows, Broad Beans, cheese, eggs for the time being. Give up caffeine. Use decaf.

People are anonymous on here. You can say you are from UK or England. Don't need to be specific.

It is essential to avoid stress and find pleasant ways to relax. Stress can cause bowel problems. Also gradually increase gentle exercise , walking, swimming for example.

Hope this helps and your friend feels better soon.

No way why think that my friend doesn't have account because she cant read stop making stupid stories about me I reset my account coz I forgot the password to my other accounts

Hi J4B4

Hope your friend's antibiotics help and she is feeling better soon.

Don't hesitate to post again if you need to.
