As if my chronic back pain isn't enough to deal with, ever since I acquired blood draw because of my (hormone) doctor's routine order for blood labs, I have a constant sharp throbbing at the actual site where I was stuck in the inner arm. See, all technicians have a hard time accessing my veins for blood. It seems every time they push the needle all the way in, dig around a while then pull it back up and finally get the blood near the surface just barely past the skin. This past time though, what surprised me is I didn't have the after affect sign of the usual reddish purple color of collected blood around the injection site, however, after taking the bandage off, I noticed, not a puncture sign, but a 1/4" slit sign. This was 3 weeks ago. and of course totally healed up, but I am having a constant sharp pain there. It feels as though I am being stuck all over again, only in a constant throbbing feeling. Is there anything to be concerned about?
