Meds not helping

Why are the meds I'm taking not helping my pain. I'm on pregablin 600mg and imipramine 40mg. Previously on Duloxetine with the Pregablin but that didn't help. I have rectal neuropathic pain and vaginal.

Method

Likewise I have tried pregabalin and Florentine, though not imipramine. Likewise, I feel no real benefit from taking them.

We are all different & I'm sure some pain sufferers do derive some benefit from these meds.

My experience only, others will advise you of theirs.

Best Wishes

Predictive text makes you look a right tit at times. How duloxetine became Florentine is a mystery, You obviously knew what I meant, but shouldn't have had to guess.

I must admit that it is quite amusing at times.

I had that same pain - from the mesh rectopexy done in Bristol. He tried to drug me too with Duloxetine and pregabaline. They don't help. The only medication that helped was Diazepam. Diazepam relieves the spasm of the pelvic floor muscles caused by the mess from the mesh rectopexy. Unfortunately Diazepam is highly addictive, you should use it sparingly. The only long term relieve after one surgeon took a pity on me and released some of the scars from the mesh.

I had this pain prior to surgery so it's not mesh in my case but stretched damaged nerves from childbirth. Diazepam might be an option for me though.
