Hi as a CPS person I find that the government want to get us all to work. Having had my health problems for 32 years now and in all that time I have not once had a light duty job. they just do not exist. oh yes you can see the DEA at the Job Centre but the frustrating thing is after they take on board all our health problems and our abilities or limitations depending on how you look at it at the end of the day the jobs that are offered to us on the computer screen are the very same jobs that are on offer to the general public.ie fit and able bodied. Alas even Remploy that secured my present job is not often light duties.
Very simply the Government needs to get its act together life for us is not a game.

They are not playing a game! The Government is not interested in your life, and they know too well there is not nearly enough work to go around even for the very ablest-bodied and it simply sees the Disabled (and plenty of others) as a great and very inconvenient and unnecessary expense, as well as a troublesome lobby group getting in the way of it redistributing that money to a select few of it's allies.
