Sandra has enlarged paracardiac lymph nodes, is this anything to worry about.

I am sorry that I haven't got any answers to this, I had a recurrence which was on the

Para-aotic lymph gland and I was told that it was too close to major arteries and blood vessels, (so the outlook wasn't good) I then went on second line chemo carb/taxol to attempt to shrink it, the good news is that it has gone, I have been in remission just over twelve months now (the first time I was in remission for two and a half years) I was first diagnosed in 2008 I say this because often even went things don't look good it can turn around.

You could give the Ovacome helpline a ring and speak to Ruth Payne she might be able to explain this or at least offer advice tel [phone]

Hello! I'm sorry to hear that your wife is going through this worrying time. i know its horrible for you too. its great that you're being such a support! Regrettably, I do not have the medical expertise to answer any questions on this. However, you many find something on the Ovacome website ovacome.org.uk There are lots of fact sheets and contact details on there. The support staff and office staff only work Mon to Fri though, so any immediate answer looks unlikely. I know lots of women on here have had enlarged lymph nodes and that chemo has been given in several cases. However, I do not have the info on where the nodes were or what type of chemo is recommended.
