hi,

Sorry you've got this worry just when you finished your treatment. How have your CA125 results been? It sounds like your doctor has things under control if you are having a scan on Tuesday, the mouth may just be the effect of the chemo - have you had it after any of your other sessions?

I hope your scan results come through and the doctor deals with your problems quickly.

love n hugs

Viv

I had a scan at the end of my chemo to see if there was any residual disease. Hopefully, you will be declared free from disease and in remission. I would imaginr the other symptoms to be chemo-related, but get in touch with the chemo dept if they persist.

Very best wishes,

Isadora

Frequent loo visits aren't too much to worry about (a normal side effect of the chemo, I would have thought, but do ask your doc'.) My own side effects have certainly changed as I get through the chemos. I was very bunged up after the first one but now on no. 4 and I'm more and more like you!

Try rinsing and gargling with bicarb' for the white mouth. It works a treat for me (it is prescribed here in France) and is dirt cheap so not worth not trying, if you see what I mean.

All the best with the scan. xx

Chemo is the cause of many, many side effects and as time goes on your body gets less resistant.Try Aloe Vera mouth wash for sore mouth it is very soothing and healing. It is all very scary when we feel so weak and vulnerable but it is your last chemo and our body does start to recover reasonably quickly once the treatment finishes. Hope your doctor able to reassure you, good luck with scan and the future. I had oc 35 years ago! Had breast cancer 10 years ago (not related to oc too long ago for that, more likey 25 years of HRT, drs much more careful about that these days).

Lots of love to you and your family. maggie
