Hi Sue sorry my computer was playing up and this seemed to go on a 2nd time and some missing , I was just saying that hopefully this will now eliminate the post code lottery scenario . Hope we can then get more access to drugs and will not be denied on the basis of cost alone . Think it is definetely a step forward but i am sure will have big implications for the NHS and the private sector

Hi Pole . I was 3b . i was advised with avastin only offered as 1st line tx and appears to work best when after surgery there is still a lot of disease evident . I had nil disease after surgery and 1st 3 chemo so no avastin . Hi Shen hopefully what it will mean is that if NICE say it is evidence based then NHS should prescribe and this will not be dependent on cost or were you live

Hi ally

I was on the avastin trial in 2009, and I had. No disease after my op but I was still eligable for the trial. I would still try to push for it- you have nothing to lose!

Love sue
