Hi i’ve just completed four rounds of seven days on seven days off these tablets. I have endometrioid and mucinous ovarian cancer stage four. My CA125 is slowly but surely going down but my CEA is described as bobbing around. The side-effects I’m having are fatigue, fingertips sore and cracking and general shaking i.e. not too bad except for the fatigue! This is not a normal regime for NHS Scotland so I do not know what to expect. Is there anyone else on this regimen who would be willing to chat to me? Thank you.

Hi Alibee..Im just wondering after reading your profile you first diagnosis was Stage 1 mucinous type of ovarian cancer? Or your current diagnosis now was Stage 4 mixed of endometroid and mucinous? I was Stage1C3 endometroid and clear cell nearly 1 year post chemo.
Sorry I’m having to dictate becauseof problems I’m having with my fingers becauseof the chemo and I missed aword out. My first diagnosis was stage 1C endometrioid & mucinous oc and I’m now stage four. When I had the recurrence, I was told it was the same two types but now after being told actually the pathology was unclear (nine months later) I pushed for a second opinion professor cameback with the that the opinion thatrecurrence is endometrioid in nature.
So sorry to know your recurrence, but on the positive side as far as my oncology said endometroid potentially has good prognosis especially when its caught early and if on low grade type.On your first treatment way back 2016 your chemo was singel chemo drug CARBOPLATIN ALONE?What grade of your cancer on your first diagnosis? So sorry so many questions. But Im happy to know you had a long 7 year NED from this awful disease. You can still beat it🤗🤗🤗
