It's just over three weeks to go until our Newcastle Health and Wellbeing Day on Saturday 12th April. The agenda for the day is looking really wonderful! Here are the details:
- Clinical Nurse Specialist Gemma Roth on ovarian cancer treatments and potential side effects, recovery and holistic care
- Clinical Nurse Specialists Helen Manderville and Yvonne Anderson on managing menopause symptoms, managing emotional and physical impacts of diagnosis and treatment on sex life and an open 'ask a CNS' Q&A
- TWO wonderful sessions with a gorgeous local wellbeing haven, Jasmine Yoga. Mother and daughter team Jo and Steph (experienced in working with people living with cancer) will be delivering a restorative, gentle yoga session (nothing too strenuous or difficult!), followed by a relaxing soundbath to end the day.
We are really excited for what is set to be a brilliant day. Now is the time to secure your tickets to avoid disappointment. Don't forget that it's completely free to attend, friends and family are warmly invited to join and lunch and refreshments are provided.
