Ok so here's the sugar to help the medicine go down, I hope. Usual high production values!

I forgot to say that my Dad died in May 2020, mid-Covid, and I was diagnosed with OC a couple of months later.

I haven't included the medicine - that will be in the next part of the vlog, complete with Thompson Twins references (you can't wait, can you?).

I did enjoy your video and look forward to the next one. I know everything was a bit crazy during covid but you think they could have worked out the correct timeline. Sorry to hear of your loss. My mother passed away during covid. It was a horrible time xx

Yes. My Dad ended up in a hospice and only I was allowed to visit him. He was nigh on 90 though at least. xx

It seems that this type of time and money wasting is a thing with the NHS! I had an appointment for video call with gynaecology 3months after my debulking , I was very anxious as I didn't know why i was having this video call, it turned out to be with a fertility consultant about planning to conceive!!! 🤯🤯🤯 I'm 53 already had been sterilised and post debulking! Funny now but at the time not so x

Yes. At the time you think - how can they get so confused? At least you didn't have to go in! Honestly. xx

You couldn't make it up! I have just had a "routine" telephone appt with a colorectal nurse. They didn't tell me it was routine, and it was following a colonoscopy I had in January. I was in high anxiety for 7 weeks until the phone call, and took up a phone appointment with my GP (who had been told precisely nothing) and other resources because of the anxiety. Then the nurse told me "oh no, it's just a routine thing", so she got a right earful! I know she's not the one at fault, but unless we patients throw a strop every so often, nothing will get fixed!

I can imagine the anxiety myself!! That's ridiculous. We all need to start making a stand or this will never change x
