can anyone tell me how they felt with the flu jab I’m on maintenance drug for cancer

Well I have just had it mid chemo so I suspect you will be alright and certainly better than you would feel if you get the flu xx

I’m on Olaparib and it was fine, likewise so was the Covid vaccine booster x

Last year I was on chemo, and had both Covid and flu jabs at the same time. I did feel a bit ‘off it’ for a few days, but not too bad. I am now on Niraparib, and had my flu jab last week. The pharmacist who gave it said to take paracetamol for the first 2 days as it could cause mild flu symptoms. Apart from the usual sore arm for a couple of days, I have been fine. I will have my Covid jab in a couple of weeks.

I had it while on chemo, sore arm for a day or two, otherwise fine. Flu can be serious enough without being on chemo or other treatment. Don't risk it, get the jab.
