Rising C125 after pfizer jab

Has anyone found their C125 rising since having the first pfizer covid jab? Mine has climbed steadily from 24 to 58 over five weeks. It is rather worrying. Wondering if it is coincidence or if others having the same experience.

Oh sorry to hear that. Has your onc mentioned any concern about the rising CA125? I am curious about this now as my mom is scheduled to get it April 9th. Hope you get some answers, will be watching for hopefully some input. If it starts to fall back down please update us, I hope it does.

No idea when I can next talk to my oncologist. He is on compassionate leave and has been since January. Just have to ask questions via his secretary. Will let you know x

Mine went from 18 to 24 after the first Astra Zeneca one - hope it’s just some inflammation from the jab rather than anything more sinister. I’ll be having my blood done again in two weeks as I am on Niraparib so need bloods done every 28 days. Nurse not worried but I am.

My white cells were through the roof after astrazenica jab- hospital thought I had an infection. Could that affect ca 125?

Hiya I'm so glad I found your post. I'm having a CT scan tomorrow morning as my CA 125 had gone up from a steady 16 to 35 I'm on my first 3monthly check up after completing treatment for stage 3c OC. I've not felt well since first jab of Astrazenica 28th January. Has really freaked me out. So glad to see your post, fingers crossed that it what has caused the rise. 2nd jab due 10th April had nasty side effects with first.First night high fever

2nd day migraine headache all day then 6 day of very bad Hives and extreme itching. Skin on fire whole time. No pain or soreness in arm where jab was done. Rash worse on opposite arm and on back and round ankles. Antihistamines didn't ease the itchyness at all

I dont feel unwell but am very worried about rising C125. Cancer nurse on a fortnight's holiday. Onc on compassionate leave these last three months. GP says unlikely to be connected x

Hi. I haven't really felt very well since I had the jab on Jan 28th . My oncologist didn't really say much about it or my GP surgery when I had to phone them as the hives nearly drove me mad for 5 to six days. It was only when my CA 125 went up they booked me in for a scan tomorrow to see if something is happening. It's a difficult situation as they don't really know yet the side effects of this jab on cancer patients. I also an one of those people who get various allergies. I shall take antihistamine before next jab on April 10th

That's a good idea. So will I but dont have a date yet for my second one. GP said it would be early May.

Have had 2nd jab 3 weeks ago. Just had a mouthful of ulcers for about a week. Took antihistamines starting week before in. Every morning my mouth would be quite sore. By lunchtime antihistamine would kick in again and moth would be ok til next morning. Didn't realise how ill I felt after 1st jab untill I started recently feeling so much better. Next oncologist appointment 7th July hope next CA 125 will have come back down again.

Hope your C125 is at a better level soon. Still have no date for my second Pfizer jab. Hope it does not impact on C125 like the first one did. Best wishes x
