Digestive upsets with chemo

I’m hoping to have my 6th chemo next week fingers crossed (they have been delayed due to bloods) but for the last two times I’ve had tummy problems, I do have a hiatus hernia and acid problems but do take tablets but it seems to get worse !! I know chemo plays nasty things on good cells as well has anybody else experienced this ? My CT scan after chemo was fine so nothing nasty lingering x

I just finished my 6th infusion of Carboplatin/Paclitaxel. I am in a clinical trial and possibly had Oreganovamab during 1, 3, 5 infusion but I do not know as it is a double-blind study. I will have just the trial drug alone in about 7-8 weeks. My stomach and digestion have been very bad since the first infusion including constipation and pain. I had a CT recently and it did not seem to show anything to account for the discomfort. I am thinking it is the chemo. It tends to get a little better but then it’s been time for another chemo. I’m hoping it will resolve further now that I’m having a break.

Yes. I hope it improves for you. I was not expecting this level of tummy stuff. Between the constipation, shooting pains and feeling like my stomach is twisting, I’m ready for a break to recover. I hope to try and tackle the neuropathy in hands and feet next. I hope my blood work improves and I’ll get some energy back. I hope you get through your last rounds and feel better soon.
