Hi, I've been told I have an obstruction on my left kidney I think the uretha area, not working properly... I'll find out tomorrow more with oncologist but now my left leg very swollen knee huge and now ankle, been getting bigger last 2 weeks, does anything know or believe this to be related? Thank you

Id get a medical expert too check it out as soon as possible if l was you. Best too make sure, could just be the hot weather we've had recently . Hope you soon get sorted good luckTomorrow. Love SheilaFxxx

I think you might be developing lymphodema. If your kidney is a bit blocked and potentially your lymphatic system is struggling to clear liquid away as it should.

Ideally you should get a referral to your local lymphodema service to get some compression garments.

The sooner you get something done about it the better your chances of stopping it going even further. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you really need to get it sorted. It’s not dangerous in itself but it’s a pain to deal with xx

I had a lymph node pressing on my left ureter causing hydro ureter nephrosis. This affected my kidney function and increased my creatinine level. Consult with radiologist who I wanted to cryoablate the node, and a urologist who said if I didn’t get a kidney stent placed, my leg would swell like a tree trunk and never go back to normal. I had the stent placed (opted for an internal one) and am back on chemo to shrink the affected lymph nodes. My leg has recovered, back to normal and my kidney function has improved.

thank you, due to radiotherapy in past though they won't give me a stent only a nephrostomy which I really don't want :(
