Sabre Treatment

So once again my cancer is starting to grow near my pelvis and pancreas, but consultant is referring me for Sabre treatment which will hopefully be successful but this is a new on me, so was wondering what it entails and if anyone else has had it please? I'm still working full time so hoping it won't interfere too much as chemo has done in the past. Thanks in advance x

Dear Koyate. I had to look Up, what is meant with SABRE Treatment: Stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR), also known as stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), is a highly focused radiation treatment that gives an intense dose of radiation concentrated on a tumor, while limiting the dose to the surrounding organs.I had last year radiotherapy in Germany, which worked very well. I went by bicycle ( Pedelec) and was in the end of the treatment very tired and exhausted. Four weeks later, recovery was nearly done and another four week's later I went on a bicycle Tour.

However be prepared on bowl problems and be careful with what you eat. They shall explain it. It worked until today.

I wish you good luck.
