I was diagnosed with clear cell last August 2022. I had to have a complete hysterectomy with other bits and pieces removed, I had a large tumor but they managed to remove it whole and it appears not to have spread. If it is caught early the prognosis is good.

Also a couple of weeks ago, on Jan 30th, Ovacome had a webinar specifically on this group of cancers. If you ring the Ovacome freephone support line 0800 008 7054, they may have the webinar ready for the website or at least tell you when and how you can access it. The webinar was delivered by a very experienced histopathologist who really knows her stuff, so even though my cancer is/was clear cell stage 3c (just reached my 10 year anniversary of NED due to surgery not chemo), I found it very interesting asnd informative.

Another point of hope is that research is now looking at how effective immunotherapy can be for clear cell and if it can be better than chemos.

Hi, Kesley. Thank you for your response. Because I’m already taking Methotrexate weekly, and immunotherapy every 5 weeks, I’m beginning to wonder if that is why I was given no therapy at all by3 Drs. My case has been studied at MD Anderson and at University of Texas.
