I am on permanent antibiotics because of my spleen removal and no doctor seemed to be concerned about my taking niraparib. Hope this helps.

I’ve had antibiotics without any problems when I was taking niraparib.

Don't forget to ring the emergency number with any questions but sure it's okay. X

I’m on Olaparib vs Niraparib so don’t know specifics but some antibiotics do interact with Olaparib (I think erythromycin) while most do not.

Anytime I have to take antibiotics I have to stop Niraparib until I've finished antibiotics.

I would contact my CNS to get my oncology notes updated that I have been prescribed antibiotics and have a chat with them. I took it for granted that anything my GP prescribed would show somewhere my oncology team could view. ( and vice a versa)This is not the case. I make a point now of informing either to ensure my notes are up to date. So with new meds from GP it is possible contra- indicators may be missed.
