Olaparib - reduce tumor size?

Happy Easter to everyone. Mother will start Olaparib in 9 days. She has rare BRCA 2 mutation (great rearrangements). She is not NED at the moment and she has visible tumor masses. Can Olaparib alone shrink tumor?

HelloYes it can for some people.

I've seen several posts from ladies who were not NED but whose tumours shrank with Olaparib.

Hi. It shrank the remains of mine after chemo for recurrence. I’m somatic brca1 and have a PALB2 mutation. Good luck!

Yes. I'm somatic BRCA1 and HRD+. On Olaparib for 15 months and it's working.
