Hi , I'm in the same position ,was told I was NED December 23rd last year , after nine months I was told the cancer is back ,stranding in my peritoneum ,I don't have much information ,I'm currently having six cycles of paclitaxol and carboplatin ,third next week ,then I'll be put on a maintenance drug ,can't seem to get any more information. Hope you're doing OK .Cheryl.

Hi. The dr. Told me it was scar tissue. Only just met her recently and she obviously forgot she’d examined me initially and said i didnt have scar tissue. Done research and nowhere does it mention scar tissue. Can i ask, how is your CA125 doing and was has it been like leading up to recurrence? Thankyou, Marie

Up to the recurrence it stayed at 15/ 16 ,I was having three monthly checks ,between June (16) and September it went up to 150 , dropped by 38 after first chemo, so hoping it will keep dropping .

My understanding is that peritoneal stranding or "fat stranding" is a change in density in the tissue that may show the presence of cancer.
