Mucinous Ovarian cancer at 27

Hello,

I had a benign Mucinous cyst in my right ovary in 2018 which was removed

In December 2019 the Mucinous cyst came back in the same ovary and it was a bordline but they thought it was benign. Anyway the cyst was removed. After 3 months it came back and it was Mucinous ovarian cancer in the same ovary! I also had a new Mucinous cyst in my left ovary but it was benign.

Anyway my doctor performed surgery he removed my right ovary along with fallopian tube and appendix and the cyst in the left ovary. After that he gave me 3 months to freeze my eggs then he will remove the left ovary. No further treatment is require although i will be monitored every 3 months.

I am 27 years old, with no kids. I want to have a baby. It is really hard decision. I would love to know someone who have been through the same experience. How they has been treated? I think i am the first case in my country so i am a bit worried

I wondered if you'd mind letting me know which country you are in? We can look for information and support that could be useful for you, and we could see if we can find any helpful organisations in your home country too.

Best wishes
