New Ovacome family and friends support group

Ovacome is starting a new group in September for family members and friends supporting someone with ovarian cancer.

Caring for someone with cancer can be difficult. It's important to look after yourself and speaking to others in a similar situation can be really helpful.

This new online group will provide an opportunity to ask any questions that you might have about supporting someone with ovarian cancer, meet others, and share your experiences and advice.

The group will meet on the last Tuesday of every month, 5-7 pm. You do not need to stay for the whole two hours; you are welcome to join us for as long as you want.

Julia do you know if they have something like this in the United States? I have been following Ovacome and it has helped me so much since my diagnosis in Dec of 2019 and know my family members would benefit in joining too.

Thank you for your reply. The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance is based in the United States and may be able to help you find sources of support for your family. They have their own forum at inspire.com/groups/ovarian-... and can also be contacted at ocrahope.org/about/contact/
