Dendritic Cell Therepy

Has anyone had any Dendritic Cell Therapy I have just started second line chemo therapy and wanted to find out what else is available for us as there only seems to be parp inhibitors which also have side effects like chemo.

Hi, I haven't had Dendritic Cell Therapy, but I have only read reports of it being used in private clinics in the USA - haven't heard of anyone who has had it in the UK. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your reply we are trying to find more out about this therepy it is very expensive. I have just started second line chemo 6 months after my first line finished due to cancer coming back in my lymph nodes. I am having carbo/gem and it is really affecting my swallowing does anyone else have this problem?

I had carboplatin only, so I am hoping the other ladies will be able to advise you re side effects. I noticed that Cancer Research UK list information about Dendritic Cell Therapy - if you call, they have nurses that are happy to chat things over with you.
