Rucaparib available in Scotland for relapsed platinum-sensitive ovarian cancer in BRCA- women

Hello All

This is just to let you know that the Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC) has announced that rucaparib will be available as maintenance treatment for those with platinum-sensitive relapsed high-grade epithelial ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer, who do not have a BRCA mutation.

Yes, rucaparib is available in England via the Cancer Drugs Fund. It can be offered to people with relapsed ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer that has responded to platinum-based chemotherapy.
