Hello All

Mary Tanay, a nurse at Kings College Hospital in London, is writing her PhD study on Chemotherapy Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN). A summary of the study can be found via this link: fundingawards.nihr.ac.uk/aw...

Mary is looking to recruit another 2-3 members of the patient group who are contributing to the study: one with experience of ovarian cancer and two with experience of bowel cancer. They would be part of the non-clinical expert study advisory group.

The ideal person would be:

• Someone who had experienced or is still experiencing neuropathy following treatment with chemotherapy for bowel, ovarian or breast cancer (neuropathy is commonly described as numbness, tingling, pins and needles on the hands, feet or both)

• Lives within Greater London area

• Male or female

• Any ethnic background

The study will run for another two years. The members will be invited to attend 3-4 meetings within this period. £20/hour will be given for their time; travel expenses will be reimbursed.

If anyone is interested and would like to discuss further, please can they email Mary directly on mary.tanay@kcl.ac.uk

Best wishes

Anna
