Hi everyone, I’m just looking for abit of advice. I’ve been suffering with symptoms of endometriosis for over 4 years now. I’ve finally seen a doctor and they have put me forward to see a gynaecologist which is on jan 14th. The last few months I’ve been getting symptoms of bloating along with Other symptoms I’ve been suffering with for a while now painful pelvic area, Lower back pain, pain during sex and pain when going the toilet. I’m wondering what symptoms you had before you went to see a doctor and how long you was having the symptoms for? Thank you x

Hello Sadie I am very sorry but I don’t tend to answer questions like this. I know you are worried and looking for reassurance but the best thing to do is go to your appointment with a list of your symptoms ( which may be very different to the ones I had- we are all different). You shouldn’t ignore anything that is unusual or persistent.
OC symptoms are vague and similar to many other conditions... so the only way to be sure is to go to your oncologist. Very best of luck... I hope you don’t have it but if you do get a diagnosis, support is here waiting for you xx
I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer almost 4 yrs ago. GRade 2 stage 1b. Treatment 6 chemo sessions. 25 radiotherapy sessions and 2 brachytherapy sessions. My symptoms were a slight discharge only. I had symptoms for 8 months before treatment. (Thought it was menopause.) So far no occurrence. Not sure if this helps you.
My mum had indigestion. Not sure how long for before she bloated like she was 9 months pregnant - she had ascites (caused by cancer irritating the lining of the stomach - i think!). Thats how she was diagnosed
Have you had your CA125 test done? It isn’t definitive for all but is an indicator. Let us know how you get on.
