I've had pelvic pain for approximately 2 years now plus symptoms similar to IBS (wind, bloating). At first I thought I might need a new mattress. I've been putting up with this pain, not understanding it.
I also suffer from fatigue. I wake up feeling like a bus has ridden over my pelvis.
Could I have ovarian cancer? What were your symptoms?

Whether or not it is OC you need to get to your doctor. Symptoms include needing to wee a lot, bloating, stomach pain and fatigue, but they are easily sidelined as being something else. Your GP should run a blood test called CA125 which shows increased levels if you have OC. It is not infallible though. Good luck - take action now.
Thank you...yes those are my symptoms. I can't figure out what else would cause such pelvic pain. I had a hysterectomy in 1998 but still have my ovaries. Time to find out. I phoned the surgery and got my appointment moved up to next week.
You’ve had this discomfort and fatigue too long now to ignore so I suggest you make an appointment with your doctor for full blood tests ( include the test for the CA125 protein market), an examination and a scan if possible so you know what’s going on. Please stay off Dr Google, it will scare the pants off you unnecessarily as the info is so out of date and vague and can be easily misread.
I hope you find you have nothing too serious but the pain and fatigue definitely need checking out. Let us know how you get on ❤️Xx Jane
Thanks Jane. ... let's hope it turns out to be something minor. Xx
Hi there, I suggest you go to your gp next week list your symptoms and let them take it from there. No point in worrying but its best to do something to make you feel better. If you are not happy with what your doctor says, then look for a second opinion. We know our bodies and know when something is amiss
Thanks ...I will. I forgot to mention about a month ago I had a sharp pain (rather than the ache) and afterwards a slight bloody discharge for the first time in 20 years and only that once. Thank you for the encouragement.
