Third Line Chemo.

Hi Ladies

After meeting with oncologist today for Scan results it was decided to begin third line chemo, (Carboplatin).

Lymph nodes show a small increase yet again but omental thickening progressing. Options watch and wait for another three months or begin chemo, so opted for chemo.

Hopefully kidney function test etc will be okay and we can proceed as planned.

Gosh Janet,

That all sounds awful. I’m so glad to hear that you opted for treatment instead of waiting for god knows what to happen next.

But I wish this damn cancer wasn’t so relentless.

Seems like we’re alway picking ourselves up off the floor and getting ready to do battle again.

Three months. Already slight delay cos Scan had not been reported.

Wishing you well with the carbo, glad to hear you started treatment rather than watch and wait. I have just done a 12 week watch and wait and will be starting treatment very soon .

Good that you had 9 weeks free 😊 . I found it was good to have a rest from treatment and get loads more strength ready for whatever is thrown at me 🥊
