I thought you might all have a giggle at this. I am very nervous about my bloods on Thursday. If my neutrophils drop then my holiday next week is off.
My friend arrived this afternoon with a big bag of smiling knitted neutrophils to give me a boost. I haven't stopped laughing. An unusual but brilliant present.

Hi. I haven't been online much as I have a partial bowel blockage and cancer not being treated as in and out of hospital. But thought I would share a little ditty I wrote about neutrafils. Enjoy. English gal in Oz.
An Ode to Neutrafils.
Who could ever write in rhyme
A poem about neutrafils without some wine.
Dancing up and down they go
Sometimes fast and often slow.
No matter what, we have to try.
They really have to multiply.
All the infections they will stop
Jump on them and give ‘em a bop.
So as I end my little ditty.
I hope you neuts are sitting pretty.
Waiting to pounce on nasty things
So good health you will quickly bring.
Then be friends with red cells and you will see,
How powerful and strong together we all can be.

That is great! Amazing how personalized humor can lift up spirits beyond what any medicine can do.
Have a wonderful vacation! Neutrophils can rise within a day or two. I always played peek a boo with mine.
