Dear All
This is to let you know we will be holding an event in Cambridge on Wednesday 10 July, from 2pm to 6 pm. It's an opportunity to meet others with a similar diagnosis, share experiences and offer each other support and encouragement. The session is also open to friends and family members, as well as anyone else whose life has been affected by ovarian cancer in some way.
Programme:
2:00 – Arrivals, refreshments
2:15 – Ovacome welcome
2:30 – Presentation by The Cambridge Cancer Help Centre on their services and the benefits of complementary therapies
3:30 – Break, refreshments
4pm– Q&A with Ovacome ovarian cancer support team
The Q&A with the support team will provide the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have, whether these relate to treatment options, symptom management, or the emotional impact of their diagnosis or that of a loved one.
We will be running the afternoon on a drop-in basis, so do please feel free to come along whenever you can, for as long as you like.
We will be meeting in the Marlowe Suite of the Tamburlaine Hotel, which is a 2 minute walk from Cambridge train station. The station has a car park. If you need assistance with the cost or organisation of travel/accommodation, please get in touch as we are able to offer financial bursaries to our members.
This event is of course completely free to attend. If you would like to reserve one or more spaces, or if you have any questions, please email events@ovacome.org.uk or call 0207 299 6658.
Best wishes
Anna
