Help with nausea?

Don't know if this is any help. Just remembered my grandmas fall back when we were nauseous and unable to eat, Arrowroot biscuits. Bought some last week and they really are easy eating.

Hi Kathy,

Thanks for reply. I now alternate between ginger and arrowroot. It's nice to have a "choice" for a change.

Hi Laura,

Good old McVities. Nice to alternate between them and ginger.

Glad you are coping with Niraparib. Hope your sleep improves.

Hi Margiedolly

Nausea been an on and off problem for me. Have found that most of the time I feel worst is when I really need something to eat.

Hope you get sorted as I know how wearing it is.

Thank you, Jan! I, too have worse nausea when hungry, and I've been using Graham crackers to ward off the nausea. However, now my gallbladder is clogged up, and it ruined my pancreas. I've been on chemo for 11 years; I supposed it was bound to happen. Apparently, crackers can clog up the gall bladder, so be careful!

Hi Margiedolly,

Thanks for reply. Had to look up Graham crackers as not readily available in uk.

I will keep the number of biscuits to a minimum just in case.

I buy a Rich Tea if I can't get Arrowroot. They are my standby if I am feeling nauseous or have been vomiting. Will now get a packet of ginger nuts as they sound good too. xxx

Hi jenny8c

It's nice to have the occasional choice. I will have Rich Tea on standby now Arrowroot seems a little harder to come by.

Excellent to have more biscuit choices, ginger has always been my standard for nausea but I’m always ready to try any biscuit, purely for research purposes of course. Hope the arrowroot help ❤️Xx Jane

Hi Cropcrop

Nice to have an occasional choice. Keep up with your research.
