pain after surgery for primary peritoneal carcinoma

I had where the omentum was removed. I had quite a bit of pain near the lowest portion of my last rib. What could this mean? I still have that pain 12 months later.

I am only three months out from frontline but just had a CT scan for the same pain--on both sides but worse on the left. The CT scan was clear--NED! I am wondering if the pain is from adhesions?

I have been having rib pain all the time during chemo and even after and now I am 3 months past chemo and it is less now .

FYI. There is a tool/brace they use to hold tissue back from surgery site if you have open surgery. It can push on your ribs and diaphragm and leave that area tender for months. Do ask

you doc/surgeon about this.

I'd be interested in knowing that as well. I've had the same thing. Off and on of course but I don't have an explanation for it either and I would love to know what others think
