I have a friend diagnosed with clear cell in her 60s. NED after initial treatment, no recurrence, discharged at 5 years and still going strong at 9 years.
It might not be a whole research group but it’s still a positive outcome.
When I said it wasn’t a whole research group I was referring to my friend, not the research you were talking about. So my friend is a research group of 1, which would be a very small group, but it’s still good.
My point was meant to be yay for the research you spotted and in addition I know someone else who seems to be doing well too.
Don’t know if that’s more clear or I’m digging a hole.
Great news - thanks for sharing. I too have clear cell, or should I say had! - as I'm fortunate to be in remission. I'd love to read the paper - do you have the title and lead author? Thank you Sundra
Well that's encouraging. My doctor has told me the same thing. He's says clear cell caught early usually has a good long term survival rate. I'm holding on to that!
