Hi guys just wondering if anyone experienced back ache with their cyst? Mine was chronic and although not as bad it's still there 10 days after the op? Is this normal? All i seem to see when googling is that cysts generally cause no pain or abdominal pain??
Thanks

I had a backache on lower right back for a long time before I was diagnosed with stage 3 OVC. It still aches all during chemo and, in fact, turned into sciaticia. This pain was my worst side effect from Carbo/taxol. I took gabapentin, and other pain meds. Also did a few rounds of acupuncture. Not sure if it helped much. A few months after chemo ended it was much better. I stretched, exercised and ate well to heal my body. It still aches a little, but CT shows some arthritis. I’ve been NED since November 2016.
I had bachache for a very long time before diagnosis and actually had trouble standing for any length of time. I put this down to getting older. After my op I had terrible back pain and was told this was normal- I had huge surgery. The palliative care physio gave me some simple exercises which worked a treat.
