Hello All

Jo from Ovarian Cancer Action is looking for people willing to share their stories about finding out they carry a BRCA mutation after an ovarian cancer diagnosis.

She’s looking for people who have had BRCA testing in these circumstances:

- After a diagnosis of any type of ovarian cancer over the age of 70

- After a diagnosis of a type of epithelial ovarian cancer other than serous ovarian cancer at any age (e.g. endometrioid ovarian cancer, clear cell ovarian cancer, undifferentiated ovarian cancer)

- After a diagnosis of ovarian cancer with no family history that would prompt BRCA testing otherwise

Jo is keen to hear stories of how BRCA testing has impacted you and your family. Ovarian Cancer Action would like to use your voices to help raise awareness of women’s eligibility for BRCA testing when diagnosed with ovarian cancer, as we know not all women across the country are being offered this equally.

You can contact Jo on jo@ovarian.org.uk

Do let me know if any queries and I'm also happy to contact Jo on your behalf.

Best wishes

Anna
