Well chemo 3 has been done. I've been back in hospital twice with decreased urine output. Currently believe it to be a UTI. I went back to consultant yesterday as stomach swollen and painful as well. They think it is a combination of chemo/Cancer and the stoma operation along with as cities but not enough to drain safely. Good news, ca 125 count has gone from 1261 at diagnosis to 69 after 2 chemos. Let's hope it continues. Di

That doesn't sound like much fun. I had very similar to you with the swelling and it turned out to be a parastomal hernia. Definitely get a support belt ordered for when you are walking about and don't lift anything heavy.

Thanks very much for the advice re the support belt, I will definitely try that. Now on antibiotics for a UTI and feeling rough again. I'm hoping that I can turn a corner soon and start feeling a little better (whatever that is meant to feel like now!!) I'm only at the beginning of my treatment, I have a review after my next chemo next week and then the decision will be made as to whether they operate. I'm trying to build mysel up for that but not having much luck. I've lost 3 stone now, did you have problems with weight loss?

My problem has been weight gain. I'm trying to eat really healthily and walk more but just haven't felt that good on this chemo. Steroids make me hungry too!

I get random gifts of chocolate dropped off by clients. As I run chocolate mindfulness sessions it's really hard to say don't do it lol
