As per advise from someone on here who tokd me ring ovacome head office i did and they also said that ovarian cancer can ve spotted on a ct scan and the mri will just he for assessing the cysts i hope this is right .... she said mri is not usually done for ovarian cancer as it can be seen cleaely on ct scsn and ultrasound ..thanks all xxxx

I had ultrasound, MRI & catscan ALL OVER coverage. Still nothing was spotted except initial fist size tumour. Spread extensive but not visible until full surgery to remove, then biopsy.

Every onco has slightly different approach I think

I think your case must be exceptional for most the cancer is visible on a CT scan and many are diagnosed this way

Visible was one fist sized lump thinking back, which they were not sure was malignant, but surgery revealed it speckled everywhere, including bowel. Biopsy confirmed

I had speckling as well but that showed up on the scan
