Hi ladies,

Just seen this on FaceBook & thought I'd share. Some of you might wish to pose your own question.

I used this service last year to ask what the possible impact to me would be for my surgeon NOT having taken any lymph nodes. It took a good few months for my answer to come back but that I think was because the expert was on holiday and I had to chase my question!

The response was that lymph node removal is not shown to aid survival and that there is a study due to report this year that is looking at NOT removing lymph nodes due to the side effects.

I was happy with my response.

Ive used it and it was really helpful. It does take a few days sometimes as they get opinions from a range of experts. It's an online development from the last session at each of TOCs 'Being Together days'- a panel take questions from the audience. You'll also find that they've run Ask the Experts' days and the last one, in Birmingham is available to watch as podcasts... X
