Hi,
Does he think it is PPC? They aren't sure if my mum is PPC or Ovarian but the treatment is the same.
x
I said to my GP that I had Ovarian cancer, and he looked on the computer and said I didn't. What I have is fallopian tube cancer, which is apparently rarer. However, they treat it exactly the same as OC.
Oh, that is so frustrating when doctors know anything one thing they know and its that my cells are hormone sensitive and low grade. They think that I might had these cells all my life 🤔
I think they are now thinking that most, if not all, ovarian cancer originates in the fallopian tubes and that's why they now always take tubes out. Perhaps they found cancer in yours? At the end of the day it's mincing words, I suppose!
I shared your shock about the Daily Mail for once being useful and honest! It doesn't forgive everything else though.
Well if you had these cells all your life you are indeed a very lucky lady and it is obviously very slow growing as well. I imagine the doctors are being diligent in case this ever gets worse so it is treated as if you have OC.
Yeah, I hope so.. Thanks for reply. But these things are just words from my dr. Nobody can know, just guess
I have Fallopian tube and it is treated the same as OC....
I was first diagnoised with high grade serous carcinoma, but after treatment and more test it changed to primary peritoneal carcinomatosis which is treated like ovarian cancer. .
