My wife has ovarian fluid on lung and has been offered long term chest drain

Oh dear, that doesn't sound nice, but may not be as bad as it sounds. Most things aren't. I hope she is doing well otherwise,

hi...isthe drain called a pleuro-o-vac? if so, i have one, and can try to answer questions. mine is installed for ascites.
